Modern Day Misunderstandings

In this 21st century of modernization and commercialization, there has been a wrong notion about Pourohitike (occupation of a purohit) and Learning Vedas. Today it has become like one who learns Veda SHOULD become purohit. But that is not at all true.According to Dharma and Shastras, every brahmin has to learn Vedas for his Self-Elevation, Self-Improvement and hence Self-Realization. It is not for the sake of becoming purohit.

The Reality is that from vedic ages, people started using Vedic Hymns/Mantras in all their KARMA to incorporate spiritual aspect to all their deeds. The same thing has been continued till today and become a wonderful commercial profession !

If we look at all scientific inventions till today, we can observe that nothing has remained constant/consistent. A big 50 kg Mini Computer once considered to be a wonderful machine IS considered SCRAP in this modern day of IPADs. I am definitely sure even these IPADs will thrown to thrash may be after 50 years ! BUT the only thing which IS and WILL be consistent forever would be spiritual eternal truth given by our revered respected sages in the form of VEDAS.
